Physics
I'm in physics on a lab day. My teacher is home sick today. You'd think that would be a good thing, no? Well it's not. It's quiet and boring and i kinda wanna fall asleep for 16 hours straight. But I can't.
Hmmm.... I'ma post a poem now. Yaaayyy!!!
Argue
You long for night, I long for day
Conscious reality
Reassurance of realism
With the dawn I come alive
With the dusk I feel suppressed
You long for day, I welcome night
Enveloping darkness saps the light
Unconscious dreaming
Wish the misfortunes away
With the dawn the burden returns
You say you feel free
That dreams are like a release
But they mean nothing
They aren’t real
The light is something tangible
The dark is something to fear
You claim it is grounding
That reality brings peace
But reality is not so simple
The vividness causes pain
The pain fades in dreams
To be awake is more frightening
How can you succumb
To your dreams so willingly?
Most times they cannot be mastered
The nightmares overwhelm
Until you long to see the sky
It always comes back to being truly alive
The nightmares stem from daylight pains
Exercise the guilty subconscious
Nightmares come to those with something to fear
And seldom visit those who know no guilt
Freedom from pain of sin
You just don’t understand.
Probably my best work to date. It took SO LONG to get this right. I'm most likely going to feature it in the book I'm writing for my G&T class, I love it so much. :)

Uhm...
i guess it's been a long time? i clicked on my blog, thinking "oh damn its been a long time" and the first thing i see is that i'm dating a football player...
UPDATE: we broke up like 2 months ago. don't ask me. i just don't care anymore.
uhm...
I JOINED THE SWIM TEAM. i love swimming. love it love it love it! I prefer practices, because meets just bother me. What is the point of going if you're going to just sprint a lap and be done? Whatever. Practices are the joy of my life. I never thought i'd relish the feeling of being an athlete. go me? :)

Cherry Chapstick
He likes the taste of my cherry chapstick XD
well actually, it's cherry PEPSI chapstick, but i digress.
the point is, i'm dating a football player. not just any football player, but the freaking CENTER. little ol' me. i'm freaking jumping for joy!
Sleep to escape reality
Cannot wait to dream
Power over consequence
Falsehoods turn to truth
Compare my influence
To that of waking day
Dream to escape the world
The stark white light of life
I much prefer the muted light
Of sleepy nighttime wanderings
And the faded sound of longing
For a better time and place
We are free to roam
Free to Love
Free to Live
Free to Fly
Free to Die
Free to Rage
and Free to Be
it's not finished yet, but it's getting there. this one's slow to come, but i hope it'll end up good. great actually. i have a lot to say on this subject.

Big Man on Campus
So right now I'm working on my Gifted and Talented project for school. It involves writing a lot of poetry, and eventually I'm going to compile it all into a book and possibly have it published.
In the meantime, you get to read some random poems that i end up posting!

Big man on campus
You just sit there and grin
Your distended stomach swelling more
You feed on the suffering of others
As the children of the world starve
Big man on campus
You scheme and you plot
To take the life away from us
You take all we have
And live in your lap of luxury
Big man on campus
Do you see what you've created?
A monster that drains us dry
Like a vampiric political snake
You fill your "status quo"
Big man on campus
It's time for you to say goodbye
We won't be crushed by your weight
We have to breathe, we have to be
